Phi Mu is the only sorority to be a corporate sponsor of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH). Supporting 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals nationwide, Phi Mu has raised over $8.5 million since 1986, improving the quality of life for children everywhere.

National Philanthropy Day is recognized by all Phi Mu's on the third Monday of each October. This day is dedicated to local community service and philanthropic work.

Chapter Philanthropy

Locally, the Phi Mu Eta Beta chapter supports Seattle Children’s Hospital, our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Sisters attend hospital tours, donate books, and help in other ways as well.

Here at the Eta Beta chapter, we hold a philanthropy week every fall and spring quarter to raise money towards these hospitals! Other chapters on the UW campus have the opportunity to buy into our week and get the chance to participate in competitions we hold and end the week with visiting our feed! This past fall, we held a kickball tournament and our annual Voodoo Donut feed that is always a big hit. In the spring, we had an Auntie Anne's Pretzel feed that we had so much fun hosting! Through these feeds, we were able to raise over $6000 for Seattle Children's Hospital!

Giving back to our community is so important to our chapter, and something that brings us closer as we work together to raise money for others! In addition, we also buy into other chapter's philanthropies on campus to help support other causes. Check out photos from this year's feeds below.
